We recently had 6in. of water fill our finished basement due to rain storm, and in conjunction with a power outage we were in serious need of help! Thankfully, SERVPRO responded quickly. During the recent heavy rainfall our sump pump was not able to keep up and flooded our entire finished basement.  I called SERVPRO of Yonkers South immediately and they showed up with a crew that was able to help us.  They were able to get the carpet out quickly and prevent any further damage to the space. We had a lower level door blow open during a recent storm causing water, mud, mulch, pine needles and stones to flood out the whole downstairs. SERVPRO’s crew came as soon as possible and worked extremely hard to remove carpeting, trim, drywall and everything else that was destroyed in the flood. My experience with SERVPRO was outstanding. Imagine coming home in the evening to the most horrific smell coming from the basement only to discover that the septic had backed up into the house due to the recent storms. SERVPRO sent a team over and had everything cleaned up much faster than I had originally expected. They worked extremely hard and efficiently in some less-than-ideal conditions and in addition to all of that they were polite and showed concern for our home.
